Get To Puerto Galera By Road & Ferry

You can drive from Metro Manila, South along the South Luzon Expressway and then the Star Tollway to Batangas pier (driving time 1-2 hours). From Batangas pier you can take a passenger ferry direct to Muelle Pier or Balatero Port (ferry travel time 1-2 hours depending on which ferry); click here for ferry schedule and travel time. If you are driving your own vehicle then there is a car park right beside the passenger terminal or you can find alternative parking in compounds close to the port area.

If you are traveling by public transport then the best choice is to take an air-conditioned bus from Pasay (corner of Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue and Taft Avenue “LRT”) or from Cubao (in the vicinity of EDSA corner Aurora Boulevard). The most frequent bus services from Metro Manila to Batangas pier are provided by: Jam Transit, Ceres Liner and DLTB. For the fastest journey time (two hours or less) choose a bus that has the sign “CALABARZON” displayed in the front window – this ensures that the bus will travel on the expressway all the way.
